Introduction platform, not a rights party
Clearhly is a marketplace that connects KYB-verified rights holders with licensees. We do not grant, administer, or enforce any license formed between users. Every agreement is between the transacting parties.
We do collect the upfront cash component of an approved clearance. It is paid on the platform through Stripe, held for 14 days after payment is confirmed, and then released to the rights holder's connected Stripe account with our success fee deducted. Stripe, not Clearhly, is the regulated custodian of those funds: we are not a bank, e-money institution, escrow agent, or payment institution. Ongoing revenue-share income is not collected by us. Verification is identity, not title
Our KYB process confirms the legal existence of a business and the identity of its representative. It does not confirm that the business owns or controls the works it posts. Licensees remain fully responsible for their own chain-of-title diligence before entering into a deal or making payment.
No legal, tax, or financial advice
Nothing on the Clearhly platform, including template terms, pricing suggestions, clearance categories, sample language, or replies from our support team, constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice. You should consult qualified counsel before entering into any license, especially where sync fees, sample interpolations, mechanical royalties, or cross-border rights are involved.
Preview audio
Preview audio on listings may be watermarked, time-limited, or otherwise degraded to deter misuse before a license is executed. Any downloading, scraping, or redistribution of preview audio is prohibited and may violate the rights holder's copyright.
Marketplace availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform, that any specific listing will remain available, or that any request will result in a license.
Examples, tours and practice deals
Listings, requests, payouts and figures marked as examples, shown in product tours or used in practice deals are fictional. They are not offers, nothing is sent to anyone, and no rights holder is contacted.
Lookups and search results
Bulk lookup, search and Wanted results only show whether a track is currently listed on Clearhly. A "Not listed" result says nothing about who owns or controls the rights or whether they can be licensed elsewhere.
